One Dead in Steel Foundry Accident in Granite City, Illinois

GRANITE CITY, IL- Newschannel20.com writes that a man died in an incident at a steel foundry on Thursday, December 13, 2018. The victim was identified as Roy Evans, 54, of Carrolton. Evans was seriously hurt while working at the American Steel Foundry, which is located in Granite City in southwestern Illinois. Evans was transported to the hospital where he later died from the injuries he sustained in the accident.*

The accident is under investigation by the police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
