LAKE COUNTY, IL- Nwherald.com writes that a 23-year-old man from Ingleside was killed in a head-on crash on Saturday, December 15, 2018. The crash occurred at about 12:10 in the morning. Two vehicles were involved in the deadly crash.*
Reports indicate that the victim, 23-year-old Feliciano Hernandez-Saucedo was driving in a 2002 Acura TL westbound on Route 134. Hernandez-Saucedo veered into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with a Buick Century that was driving westbound.
Hernandez-Saucedo died at the scene of the accident. The reports found that the victim was not using a seatbelt. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma.
The72-year-old man operating the Buick only suffered minor injuries. A passenger in the Buick, identified as a 72-year-old woman, was critically injured. The people in the Buick are both from Round Lake. The injured persons were transported to the Advocate Condell Medical Center /
The woman suffered several bone fractures and was still listed as being in critical condition as of Wednesday evening.
