ROCK ISLAND COUNTY, IL- Wqad.com writes that a multi-vehicle crash took place on Illinois 5 close to Cloverleaf in Silvis, Illinois early in the morning of Monday, December 3, 2018. Traffic was delayed as a result of the incident which blocked one lane and backed up all others.
Two individuals involved in the collision were transported tothe hospital by ambulance.
Roads were slippery on Monday morning because of snowfall and wet pavement. The Illinois Department of Transportation was salting the roadways.
Police have not stated the cause of thecrash.
