WESTCHESTER, IL- The chicago.suntimes.com writes that one man died in a crash in Westchester on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at about 4:18 in the morning and another man sustained injuries.*
The victim, 35-year-old Michael Saldarriaga, from Streamwood, was traveling on Roosevelt Road and struck a concrete viaduct located to the east of Westchester Boulevard.
Saldarriaga was transported to the Loyola University Medical Center located in Maywood where he was later declared dead. The medical examiner determined that the victim’s death wasan accident.
A passenger traveling in the vehicle, a 26-year-old man from Glenn Ellyn suffered injuries in the crash. Hewas transported to Loyola as well, but his condition is not known at this time.
