COLES COUNTY, IL- Wandtv.com writes that one person sustained injuries in a collision that took place on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, in Coles County, Illinois.
The crash involved two vehicles collided with one another on Loxa Road. According to reports, Driver John Bennett was attempting to make a left turn off Loxa Road and struck another vehicle. The other driver, Bradly White had a passenger in his vehicle who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The passenger in White’s vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The extent of the injuries was not reported.
Police cited Bennet for his failure to yield in the intersection. The injured passenger in White’s vehicle received a citation for failing to use a seatbelt.
The crash is still under investigation.
